Fashion Photography and Ethics

The changes made to the models face
- They made her neck longer
- They moved up her eyes
- They enlarged her eyes
- They made her face thinner
- They darkened the hair around her face
- They added more contour to her face to make her look thinner
- They thinned out her neck and made it slimmer

Changes to the models body-
- They changed her skin color
- Elongated her neck and back
- Slimmed her stomach, back, neck, legs, breasts, and booty.
- They made her look taller
- They made her skin more even-toned on her face
- Edited the highlights in her hair
- Made her more curvy
- Lifted her eyes
- Enlarged her eyes
- Changed her irises

Changes they made to the 3rd model-
-oh wait its a pizza.

I think that it is acceptable to add makeup to the models before the photo takes place, and very lightly go in to correct blemishes or red spots, other than that I think that this should not be happening. This shouldn't be happening because if you wanted a model that looked like the photoshopped version then you should have found a human that actually looked like that instead of changing a perfectly good one beyond recognition. There is also the issue of the fact that people see these fake bodies and think that that is actually how they are supposed to look, then they pressure themselves to have the perfect body that these models have, even though most of the time those models don't even have that body.
