Portrait Ideas

                                               1. Movement
Portraits can be so static – but what if you added some movement into them? This can be achieved in a few ways:

2. Framing your subject
Framing is a technique where by you draw attention to one element of an image by framing it with another element of the image.

Environmental Portraits-

I liked these photos because I feel like i was getting an insight of their lives.
Photography self portraits-

I really liked how in the first photo it is more staged and planned, and in the second photo (my queen Lisette Model) she is more raw and it is a spur of the moment deal.
Causal Portraits-

I like how with causal portraits you get candid photos that can show a real emotion at the time it was taken.

Over Thanksgiving break I am going back to Houston to see my family and my friends there. I plan on taking photos of my friend Tristan, he really enjoys costumes and makeup and I asked him if he would put one on for me and we can have a little photo shoot. I am also going to be with my family over the break and I was hoping to get some casual photos of my baby cousins, aunts, and my grandparents. For my baby cousins i wanted to try and get a picture of the 2 year old playing around and having her fun, then for the littlest one I wanted to get a picture of her with her mom, or her showing off her toothless smile.  For my self portrait I am thinking about showcasing the things that i really enjoy like painting, sewing, or drawing. I am also thinking about taking a more raw black&white photo of me in my room.
