Abandoned Theme Parks

  I would like to bring my camera to this park because it is probably the most erie to me. It also hits close to home being destroyed in Katrina back n '05. This would be a really cool thing to take pictures of if you where doing a documentary on the effects Katrina had on New Orleans, and how we still feel the waves of those effects today. I feel like I could take some cool post-apocalyptic photos here.

Five unusual places to take photos would be abandoned shoppes or shops that where foreclosed on, the inside of a clock tower, closed schools, haunted houses in Georgia is one that I've always wanted to do, you could also take photos in an old hospital.

I think it would be fun to photograph an abandoned hospital because they are usually spooky and erie places to go. I personally am a fan of ghosts and haunted places so this would be right up my ally. There would also be that cool degraded factor that you get from going to abandoned places, like the paint peeling and the rust coming off of things. I also feel like you could get the blast from the past effect from your photos, seeing the way things were structured and built before.

To take photos at an abandoned hospital I wouldn't need much. Just a camera with a wide angle lens to get the full effect of the rooms. There are abandoned hospitals everywhere and getting to one wouldn't be hard. I could make this a weekend drive trip and stay over night. Also a lot of these places give haunted tours so I wouldn't need to get permission to go in I would just need a ticket.
