Great Black and White Photographers part 3
What drew me to Model's photos was her way of looking at things. She chose something out of the ordinary or something perceived as wrong to do, and made it a piece of art. She did a lot of street photography and of people throughout their daily lives. She also took a lot of photos of things that are funny or comical.
I see the line of the horizon, where sea meets the sky. I see the clear blue sky suspended above me.
I smell the salt of the ocean. I can smell the sunscreen coming off my model and myself. I can smell the seaweed that is in the ocean this time of year.
I hear the waves crashing into the shore. I can hear the screams of joy from the children playing.
I can taste the large burger in her mouth. I can taste the salt thats coming off the ocean water.
I can feel the sand that is under my feet and covering my body. I can feel the sun on my skin and on the back of my neck, giving me a burning sensation. I can feel the wind on my face, blowing my hair into my eyes.
To show off my great photographer I would like to create a poster with some of her work on it and a short bio of her life. The bio would include her backstory and how she ended up a photographer, and then i would choose some of her most famous works to put on the poster.
Albert-Alberta Lisette Model |
I see the powdered faces of the queens around me. I see the arrays of panty hose and outfits to put on.
I smell the hairspray and the dignity of these performers. I smell the makeup that they are wearing.
I hear the murmurs of the crowd outside. I can hear the rushing back and forth from the other queens making last minute touch ups on their look.
I taste the clown white powder floating through the air. I can taste the popcorn of the crowd that is behind the curtain.
I feel the fine costumes that these queens put on. I can feel the heart beats of them before they walk on stage.
