I read the story about the tables on page one.

The story also touched based on our growing student population, and the need for more places to sit at Bowie. The students interviewed in the article also expressed that getting new tables might not be the most important change that needs to be made to the school.

Page 7 Photos-
1st picture- I liked this photo a lot, and the lighting created a more dramatic effect. It probably wasn't the best photo for the top though.
Comp Rules- Background, balance, rule of thirds, avoided mergers
Main Sub.- Maddie Sparks and Blake Pousson.
This had a shallow depth of field
3rd picture- I like the depth that this photo created with the blurred coat-hangers in front of it. I also like that the actress was standing out against the background.

My favorite picture in the paper was the top soccer picture. Its my favorite because of the motion and the emotion that it captured, it really makes me feel like I am at the game.
The photo had rule of thirds, balance, depth of field, and it avoided mergers.
My least favorite photo was the 5th one on page 16, its my least favorite because it was too dark and underexposed and thats one of my photography pet peeves.
If I was on staff I would like to take photos of sports, I already kind of do it when it comes to swimming so I think I'll be good at it.
I think that this issue was one of the stronger ones when it came to photography, the strong points were the photo essays and the sports section, and the weaker points that I saw were the profile or head shots.
