iMovie Stuff

   1.)  The wikihow page explained in a step by step process with photos how to do the basics in iMovie. It started off telling you how to import files and how to make a new event for your video. Then it went into telling you how to stabilize your video to polish it off using the enhancements function. The next segment was about actually making your video and it went over how to add in transitions, photos, and things that will really help polish your video off.        On apple support it went over the basics again. This wasn't extremely in-depth and skimmed over a lot of the topics. It did not go through step-by-step on the process of actually making a video, but more focused on the individual tools you can use on the site. It covered what tools you could use for trimming, cutting, removing clips from the video.  2.) Tell me one thing that you already knew about iMovie that the website explained. Who- San Francisco Bay residents What- San Fransisco Earthquake  When- 8:12 a.m. Where- San Fransisco Bay area Why- People died   How- Building collapse      Yesterday at 8:12 a.m. an earthquake shook the San Francisco Bay area, causing a building to collapse, killing 2 people and injuring 6 others.          A building housing McHenry’s Auto Supply at 2342 Plum St. partially collapsed, killing two people and injuring six others, according to  Jennifer Vu, a public information officer from the Hayward Fire Department. Names of the dead are being withheld pending notifications of families, Vu said.     Residents of the area also felt the impact of the collapse.       Hayward resident Mike Beamer, whose apartment is across the street from McHenry’s, said he felt a rolling motion that lasted for about 30 seconds, with a big jolt coming in the middle. “I was eating my breakfast when the room started rolling. Why- Jones dog shot her How- Her dog knocked her 9mm hand gun off of the seat of her car.   On Wednesday at around 10 p.m., Janice Jones was shot in her leg after her dog knocked the 9mm handgun off of the car seat which was parked off of Beach Boulevard, behind her motor home.   Janice Jones is 53 years old and lives in Barstow, California, according to California Highway Patrol press liaison Tammy Rye.   Jones was shot in the leg when the gun hit the floor of the car, causing it to discharge a bullet that went through her calve and the side of the vehicle. “It could have been worse,” Rye said. “The bullet hit two inches from the gas tank.”    Jones’ dog, a Pomeranian named Tombo, was placed in the care of the Huntington Beach Animal Control officers.  The dog was not in the best condition when it was taken in, and had shown signs of abuse a

Who- Andres Chairez When- March 5th, 2018 What- Student of the Month Where- Bowie High school Why- He worked hard How- He was noticed for all his hard work       On March 5th, Andres Chairez was announced to be Student of the Month here at Bowie High School. Chairez was awarded student of the month for all his hard work in school and the surrounding community. Student of the Month is a long-standing tradition at Bowie, and the students that earn it are hard working individuals that are outstanding in both academics and citizenship.     Chairez has been working hard all year, and his efforts did not go unnoticed by his teachers and fellow classmates. "He (Chairez) has been working very diligently in class all year, and he has always given his best efforts in my class. It was no surprise to me that he won Student of the Month," said freshmen english teacher, Mrs. Samson.    Students that are recognized this way are hard workers and deserve to be given recognition

Nut Graf

    The "Nut Graf" in a story is usually the second paragraph, and contains the news value information in a story. In a feature story it might be included later on and will explain what the story is about.     The nutgraf is used also to explain some key points in a story. Some of the main functions of it are; to justify why someone should care about what the story is about, it tells the readers why the story is timely, and tells readers why the story is important.
